Winston Grigg began building swimming pools in 1983. In 1992, Winston and his wife Rosalie, founded R.E. Grigg Pools Ltd. with little understanding of how their small family business would positively shape their lives and the lives of their children.

Winston laid a strong foundation. His honesty, generosity, and social personality created a respected reputation.

Although Winston is no longer with us, his knowledge and values remain with his son and family.

In 1992, at the age of 7, Winston's son, Ryan, began to accompany his father on job sites during the summer. Ryan developed strong technical skills and work ethic. He enjoyed the work and spending time with his Dad. In 2005, Ryan graduated from the Saint John Community College with high honours in the mechanics program but instead decided building swimming pools was his passion.

Today, Ryan is Grigg Pools' Owner and Head Foreman handling sales, service, and construction.

Rosalie, Winston's wife, worked at the Saint John Regional Hospital lab during the day and in the evening would come home to work for the family business, testing and balancing customers` pool water.

Rosalie is an expert at solving pool water problems and today, Rosalie is Grigg Pools' Lab Technician and Office Manager.

Growing up, Karen, Winston's oldest daughter, supported the company during the summer months by cleaning swimming pools and testing pool water.

Today, Karen looks after strategic direction of the business as well as the company's marketing and communication strategy.
